KENSHIN COACHES

SENSEI DEAN IMBUSCH

Role: Head Coach
Grade: 3rd Dan

Wanting to help kids in his local area and feeling he could make a difference, in 2004 Dean began running his club from a local Church. Over the years, through his patience and dedication to teaching, he has continued to make a difference and has taken students, both young and old, that knew nothing about martial arts and turned them into confident, mentally tough, medal-winning fighters.

Dean himself has obtained several National, European and World Titles and is a former ISKA Team England coach.
SENSEI JORDAN IMBUSCH

Role: Assistant Head Coach
Grade: 2nd Dan

Having trained since he was 3 years old, Jordan not only enjoys the benefits that martial arts brings him, both physically and mentally, but he takes huge enjoyment in helping students strengthen their mentality. He aims to make each student as successful as they possibly can, and helps them try to reach higher goals than those achieved by the clubs own coaches and mentors.

Jordan has achieved great success in interclub tournaments, National and European championships, as well as claiming several World Titles across various associations.
SENSEI ALYSSA IMBUSCH

Role: Junior Head Coach
Grade: Brown Belt Black Tag

Growing up watching her family do martial arts, Alyssa began dedicating herself to kickboxing and was persistent in her goal to reach the same level as them. In spite of her young age, Alyssa has become her clubs Junior Coach, one of the most sought after personal trainers and the leader of the Baby Ninjas.
Encouraging kids to get into the sport, she loves to pass down the knowledge she has learnt whilst training and competing.

Like her family, Alyssa has had success in interclub and domestic tournaments and has claimed titles on the European and World stage also.
SENSEI RUSSELL HUNTER

Role: Coach
Grade: Brown Belt Black Tag

One of the coaches of the Little Ninja programme, Russell began martial arts almost 10 years ago as a way to help keep him focused during a tough period of his life. Since then, he has attributed martial arts and what he has learnt on the mat as a huge factor in how he has kept mentally strong and confident in stressful situations. He is dedicated to showing others that the benefits of his chosen sport are perfect in the battle against mental health issues.

Russell has represented his club in interclub and domestic tournaments and aims to do so on an international level.
